Peacocks Displaying 2024
On a cloudy day in April, the peacocks were out in full force, displaying for the peahens who have been so elusive this year. Most of the peacocks have had their territories (or leks) where they display for years, and they're not going to give up hope that the peahens will wander by. Filmed at the L.A. June Peachick Hatching

A nesting peahen is shown, along with her nest of eggs which she had on the roof of the restroom building, adjacent to the Celebration Garden at the L.A. Arboretum. The peachick hatching is then shown. The first 3 chicks hatched ahead of the 4th chick. The 4th chick hatched late at night or early the next morning and was therefore depicted as weak and show to move, compared to the other 3 chick...

Bro i saw many peacocks few days ago in Sariska( it's a tiger reserve in India). I was in my hotel so peacocks were just outside my room. One of the peacock was standing still it was not reacting at all and didn't even open its feathers. It wasn't even scared if i tried to go close to him. He didn't scream and was just standing at one place and wasn't flying. The same peacock came the next day and the same happened again. Can you tell me what the could be the issue😢

That's the most receptive peahen I've ever seen in peafowl mating. Generally, they are very skittish or nonchalant to the male's dance.

I'm so sorry. The Arboretum where I take my videos is going through a crisis right now. There are no more peahens living there...only peacocks. Sometimes the peahens come to visit but they don't stay. They passed a cruel law that we can't feed the peafowl and that's what's driving them away.
